The US Hemp Building Association board of directors voted at the January board meeting to issue two requests for proposals to boost membership and increase awareness of grant opportunities.

US Hemp Building Association is requesting proposals to recruit membership.
The member-based trade association, USHBA, has strategic momentum in advocating and advancing industrial hemp materials and methods for building and construction.
• Increased membership will increase the influence and impact of the USHBA with additional resources and talent.
• USHBA has engaged in a successful membership recruitment effort that was proposed to complement their existing recruitment.
• The success of this first membership recruitment effort is desired to be expanded.
Grant Prospecting and Writing:

Request for Proposal: Funding and Grant Research US Hemp Building Association and US Hemp Building Foundation.
Funding from public and private resources is available to develop and advance building materials and methods that have the advantages of hemp as a building materials;
Therefore, the US Hemp Building Association is requesting proposals to research funding opportunities.
